John sharpened his skills at the illustrious Savoy Hotel in London, cultivating a profound respect for precision and excellence. His career has seen him managing kitchens for celebrities and ultra-high-net-worth families across the Cotswolds and London — environments where only absolute mastery is accepted.
A Dream Realised
After 17 years of dedication, John opened Piraso in July 2025. It is the culmination of his life's work, blending world-class experience with a deep-rooted passion for Filipino cuisine — artfully modernising traditional flavours for a dining experience that is unique, contemporary, and deeply personal.
