The NEC Group operates two major arena venues in Birmingham. bp pulse LIVE sits on the NEC campus beside Resorts World — around 10 minutes from Springfield House — and hosts concerts, comedy and live entertainment throughout the year (formerly Resorts World Arena). Utilita Arena Birmingham is the city-centre arena on King Edwards Road, around 25–30 minutes by car from Coleshill.

Utilita Arena Birmingham — city centre
Utilita Arena Birmingham hosts major touring artists, comedy and sporting events in the heart of the city. It is part of the same NEC Group family but located on King Edwards Road (B1), with excellent links from Birmingham New Street station.
From Springfield House, allow around 25–30 minutes by car depending on traffic, or take a train from Coleshill Parkway to Birmingham New Street and walk or taxi to the arena.
Tips for concert nights
- Pre-book a local taxi for NEC campus shows if you prefer not to drive after a late finish — on-demand apps can be limited at peak times.
- For bp pulse LIVE, take the local Coleshill route (B4117) rather than the M42 when returning after a sold-out show.
- Leave your car at Springfield House and enjoy free parking for the duration of your stay.
- Breakfast from 7:00am — useful if you are travelling on after an overnight stay.
